I'm helping a friend go through his camera collection(and I'll probably be acquiring several pieces for myself, including his Hasselblad kit and the large format stuff-but that's a topic for another day).
I've IDed this 8x10 camera as a Century, I think. it has a rectangular ivory?/black plate on the front standard that is badly smudged, but was able to make out Century as best as I can tell. It has the triple extension bed/long bellows as I seems to be a trademark of Century cameras.
I've been trying to read up on Century cameras, though, and this one has me a bit stumped. It folds into a leather-covered box, much like a press camera.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what this may be?
Also, the ground glass is missing on this one. Is there a good source for ground glass?
