Beyond that I think I have it sorted…hot shoe adapter that sits on my cold shoe, cabled to lens or focal plane poles. Flash controller on the hot shoe/cold shoe triggers my units.
I just have to use T with the focal plane shutter, set sync mode to X when connecting to lens poles.

I’ll just cut/solder/heat shrink the shaver cord end onto the PC sync cord.

Anyone with experience they’d like to share?
    also glad it worked !

usually if you aren't using bulbs you'd typically be advised that some of these press cameras that have body plugs are only synched with bulbs
this is true for graflex sir's too .. I remember a guy in my building back in the day was excited to tell me he got his 4x5 adapter on is 3x4 graflex slr
back from the repair guy. .. he had his assistant burn like 4 boxes of polaroid film and all the exposures were 1/2 blocked by the shutter ...
for many the rule of thumb is if you are using a modern "strobe" and not a bulb set up ... you might have trouble ..

Also J, what worked for me as far as shutter speed and modern flash is this... I used the focal plane shutter (barrel lenses) set to T. Figure out my flash strength using my digital. Handhold my flash trigger. Click the graphic shutter, immediately hit the trigger, both flashes do their thing. Hit the graphic shutter again to close. Done. All within 1 second. Click/trigger/click.
Obviously this won't work with too much ambient light but it worked for me! (I'm using Tech Pan iso 20. Might be much harder with 400iso film)
    Cheers

time/open flash close .. I do that with no sync cable ( fewer things to trip on.. for me at least )
fill flash with ambient light works great, cuts down on development times

I shoot any Flash Bulb or Modern Strobe

    on old camera, shutter

    I use 1/30 or slower

don't really need a working shutter

but I have many flash bulbs and strobes

thanks to your post I will show them soon

the T setting has x-sync, you don't need to fire the flash manually. just double click.

    A tip for beginners

    Needing Sync cables

Ask for any cables when buying a camera

    Many sellers have them

    But throw them away

    Last time I got plenty

    Some NOS
