Testing my new FOBA DIMIL Sweep Table. I want to get a large sheet of thick table glass made for it so I can "float" small objects. And cut down a sheet of thick plexi to make a shoot through diffusers

I used 1/4" tempered glass. A lot can be had cheap. Most large glass installers have inventories of Tempered that was The Wrong Size. You can't cut it after it's been tempered. Plus it's safer to work with.

Something like this is what I want to restore, I have an olde FOBA DIMIL Sweep Table with FOBA wheels. Yes a tempered glass top 1/4" thick would do nicely. I will start inquirinig locally there are big glass plants in this area. A scrap piece cut wrong will do the job. This will allow me to "float objects" and it's a classic technique for small products. My DIMIL table came from Florida stored outside but cleaned up nicely. Plexiglass curved piece is also a possibility.
