Sorry for the add of sorts, but they are free, and us LF'ers are about the only people that want to scan anything anymore!
My company has 2 Crosfield Magnascan 636 drum scanners that are available for the grand total of $0.00 and are located in Denver CO. Original price on these bad boys was about $250k, a sign of the digital times! The only catch is that you would have to arrange moving and transportation. Keep in mind that they are about 6' x 4' x 2' in size and weigh about 200+ lbs. These would be great for a school or the mad scientist photographer who needs a good fix.
