I am very lucky and proud to have some talented girls in my life. Take a look at this video that my daughter Sarah put together. The whole family pitched in on this production (http://youtu.be/t-SuKqtH5KQ).

Great video, Kerik...and Gayle's piece and her guitar playing is awesome. I was blown away when I saw that she did the music.
Cool. What's the thing you're using to hold the plate when you coat it with collodion? Is it a small dent puller?

No, the small dent pullers I tried didn't work well because the rubber is pretty stiff and the plates popped off too easy. This thing is made to stick on your shower wall and hang a razor or wash cloth or whatever. The suction cup is silicon instead of rubber, I think. I've been holding my plates for pouring this way for years and it works great.

Thanks, Paul! Coming from you, the comments on Gayle's guitar work and composition are high praise indeed! I told her what you said and it made her very happy.

I really like the stop-motion section at the camera. Excellent multimedia work about our classic process.

Great to see a creative family work together on a project.
Perhaps someday I can see wet plate done in person.
That looked like it was fun to make, thanks for sharing

+1 on what everyone said, including Gayle's guitar work.
Must get a wet plate holder and get started!
