What kind of cable release do you need for this shutter? It doesn't look like the more modern type. Any idea where to get one? I don't have the lens yet, but I'd like to be prepared.

All my betax #4 shutters will take a normal cable release (there are threads on the inside as well as the outside.) You might need a cable release with a longer throw to trip the shutter.

All of my "modern" cable releases (Nikon, Linhof, no-name) screw right into my 1920's vintage Betax 4 and work fine.

Okay, thanks. I saw that the socket had outer threads but I didn't know it had inner threads for the current standard cable releases as well.
