Sinar F2 setup question

I acquired an f2 and I can't get the rear standard to stay together, is it missing something? See photo.250556

Hard to tell from your photo. Here's the exploded view of the rear standard. Perhaps it can help you figure out what's missing.
What I can tell from the photo is that it's an older F rather than an F2, which isn't a problem in itself unless you paid F2 money for it.

That rear standard appears to be separating. Where the geared rail is on the base is supposed to be flush with the upper part of the standard.
