I want to process 8x10" HP-5+ in DD-X in a Jobo 3005 drum on the Jobo machine.
Has anyone with experience suggestions on time, dilution, temprature, rotation, and film speed ?
Is this a good combination?

Hi Gudmundur,
The combination of Ilford DD-X and Ilford HP-5+ is a marriage made in heaven. For a film speed of 400, use the standard 1+4 dilution and reduce the intermittent tank development time , 9 min. at 20C , by 15% to compensate for the Jobo's continuous agitation. Use the normal rotation speed. See: www.ilford.com, for more detailed information.

Hello Gudmundur,
Time temperature dilution combinations vary so much with different photographers and water supplies that I am always a little nervous about having someone use my times. I developed a few sheets of 8x10 HP5+ yesterday in my Jobo processor. 20C , speed 31/2 , DDX diluted 1:9, I use 900ml of water and 100ml of ddx, for 10 minutes. I wouldnt use 5 negatives at a time with so little stock, but I have done it and the negs look fine for silver gelatin printing.

I forgot one thing. I use a water pre-soak for 4 minutes.
